Your first search, from Job to outcome
Follow the complete Roleway workflow with one real Opportunity.
Before you start
An account and a focused career target. Have a Job listing you want to consider.
Step by step
- Create a Workspace for your target role during onboarding. Use its objective and preferences to describe the search you want to run.
- Open Inbox and add a Job. Review captured company, title, source and description; fill any missing information before saving.
- Track the Job when it deserves your time. Open the resulting Opportunity, choose a stage and priority, and set one Next Action.
- Prepare in the Opportunity dossier with tasks, contacts and documents. To save a note, connect a provider in Settings → Agent, then use Agent → Create → Note and approve the proposal. Saved notes appear under Activity → Notes. Keep your Career Profile accurate before requesting Agent drafts.
- Submit your application yourself. Return to the Opportunity and record the submission details and documents you used.
- Record an interview when one is arranged, prepare for it, then record the result. When the Opportunity ends, close it with its actual outcome.
- Return to Home for due work and to Insights for recorded activity. Repeat this process for the next suitable Job.
Expected outcome
One Opportunity has a clear history, supporting material, and a next step or closed outcome.
Troubleshooting
- A Job in Inbox is not yet an Opportunity. Track it before adding Opportunity-specific work.
- Roleway does not send applications or contact employers. Recording an action means you performed it yourself.
